From Pre-Market to Premium Offer

This charming terrace home, located opposite Paddington’s popular Trumper Park, offered character and potential in equal measure. While it had undergone some upgrades, the property's dated colour palette, including yellow walls and a blue master bedroom, posed a challenge from a styling perspective.

Our approach was to embrace the home’s quirks without letting them dominate. We selected a neutral styling package that softened the wall colours rather than competing with them. The goal was to balance warmth with cohesion, particularly in the open living and dining areas, where carefully chosen furniture and décor helped define the space and create a sense of flow and functionality.

The results spoke for themselves. Just two days after styling was completed, and before the property could even hit the market, it sold off-market. The agent noted that one interested buyer had initially been considering an offer of $2.8 million pre-styling, but after viewing the styled home, increased their offer to $3.2 million.

This case is a clear example of how expert styling can overcome visual challenges, elevate presentation, and significantly influence buyer perception, ultimately driving stronger, faster sales outcomes.
