When I founded Spatial in 2010, there were only a few property stylists operating in Sydney and the majority of houses were listed without professional styling.

However, in today’s market, with the rise of social media, video and online listings, presentation has become especially important to real estate sales. House hunters are accustomed to seeing staged homes and now most properties listed for sale in Sydney are styled to some degree. 

Before starting Spatial, I was a real estate agent so I understand the challenges that face both agents and vendors, as well as the enormous amount of work that goes into a property sale. 

A few years ago we introduced the Spatial Guarantee. Rather than a 4 or 6 week furniture rental campaign, which is what most styling businesses offer, we promised our clients they could keep our styling until they sell, without any time limits, or extra fees. 

We were able to do this for two reasons; firstly, we own all the furniture we use in our styling installations and we’re continuously buying new stock so we have an ample rotation; and secondly, with 10 plus years experience we can confidently tell clients that our styling will help them achieve a faster and higher sale. 

Sometimes a home we’ve styled doesn’t sell within the usual 6 week window which we know is stressful for both the agent and vendor so we're pleased to ensure that styling is one less thing to worry about. You don’t have to spend more money to keep your styling package and you don’t have to worry that it will be removed. You can keep your styling until you sell.
